Love pasta but can’t have gluten? Missing the ultimate comfort food? We’ve got the answer!!

Creamy Mushroom Sauce with Pumpkin Raviolini - the delicious fusion of pumpkin with a creamy comforting sauce to bring you the ultimate bowl of comfort food! Perfect for lunch or dinner and dairy and gluten-free too! www.intolerantgourmand.com

If you’ve not heard of Ugo Thrive before, then where have you been? Multi awarding, and leading the way in the pasta revolution for free from pasta that’s still packed full of flavour, Ugo Thrive is THE pasta to have in your kitchen.

Made by the Ugo Foods Group, who launched in the UK in 1929 and are known for being the longest established fresh pasta company in the UK. They have an envious reputation for creating the finest fresh pasta, and in 1967 pushed the boundaries to bring gluten-free products to market.

Initially launched under the Evexia Thrive name, and now newly launched as Ugo Thrive, they have been a driving force in changing the perceptions of gluten-free pasta.

Their aim, to ‘create gluten-free meals for the busy modern lifestyle with no compromise on the taste, texture and quality’.

They certainly seem to have achieved this, with products flying off the shelves, and their newest addition to the range, Pumpkin & Sage Raviolini walking off with 2 gold and 1 silver award at the prestigious Free From Food Awards earlier this year.

So far, the range includes:

  • Pumpkin & Sage Raviolini
  • Chickpea Fusilli
  • Penne
  • Spinach & Ricotta Tortellini

Last weekend saw us working alongside the wonderful Ugo Thrive at the Allergy Show, with Callum cooking live with myself and Chef Steve Walpole. It was a wonderful weekend, which both Callum and I loved being a part of. You can't beat working with a great team, and with a fab product that has helped so many, and that just so happens to be multi awarding to boot!

We cooked a recipe I created to complement the full range, a creamy mushroom sauce that was dairy and gluten free.

You can try the recipe out for yourself here!

Now, on top of sharing our recipe, we’ve also got a wonderful giveaway for you!
