Hello, and welcome to cookery Corner with The Intolerant Gourmand. We not only create recipes for clients, we also teach how to cook the recipes successfully.
The lessons are also available for parents/ allergy sufferers looking to gain a better understanding of how to cater successfully for allergies, be it on an individual or group level.
Currently, we offer 2 types of lessons:
1-2-1 lessons
These lessons are perfect if you are wanting to gain inspiration in cooking ‘freefrom’ food. I will guide you through the recipes you want to get to grips with, or the ones that you simply don’t know how to create as a ‘free from’ alternative. Perhaps you don’t have the confidence to turn an old classic into a safe recipe, or maybe you are just starting out on your allergy journey and have more questions than answers. I will also explain the importance of understanding cross-contamination and the implications when cooking allergy safe food.

Group workshops
These lessons are great for clients looking to teach their staff new menus created by The Intolerant Gourmand. They are also a great source of support for parent groups looking to have fun whilst learning how to cater for allergies safely.
Groups will be able to choose 2-3 recipes to create depending on the length of the workshop, and I will guide you through the making of the dish, things to look out for, where you can adapt to put your own spin on it, and more!
