Calling all food lovers! Did you know, Fantastic Food Festivals returns for it’s 6th and biggest year yet at Blenheim Palace from Saturday 25th May – Monday 27th May.

Blenheim Palace Food Festival crowds from 2018. A festival packed full of fun, food, demonstrations and more! www.intolerantgourmand.com

(AD) I’ve been keeping a secret for the past couple of weeks, and I can now reveal….

As an avid foodie, creator of recipes, and presenter at food events, it’s no secret that I love talking about food and working alongside talented chefs. I’m truly honoured to have been invited to be the main compere for the Blenheim Palace Food Festival on Saturday 26th May at the event set in the stunning grounds of Blenheim Palace.

With 160 regional food and drink exhibitors featuring:

  • Artisan bakers
  • Gourmet burgers
  • Traditional ice creams
  • Craft brewers
  • Handmade sweets

And more, it’s definitely not an event to be missed!

There’s also a brand new for 2019 special area designated for vegans, vegetarians, gluten-free, dairy-free and more. For me, I find this so encouraging to see that ‘free from’ is being embraced so wholeheartedly with such a high-profile event. It is putting free from firmly on the map and ensuring those with special diets are still considered and catered for.

On the day I’ll be there, the wonderful line up includes:

1030 - Masterclass with Jason Christie from Daylesford – Ferments to eat and drink
1130 - Demo and tasting Nenette Scrivener – Chocolate truffle making
1230 - Brakspear Beer talk and tasting
1245 - Demo and Q&A Jean Christophe Novelli – celebrity chef
1415 - Demo Hywel Jones Executive chef at Lucknam Park
1515 - Demo Eva Humphries – Vegan
1615 - Toast Ale talk and tasting

And it gets better……….. how would you like to get your hands on a pair of VIP tickets?

Here’s what you need to do!

I would love my 7 year old son to meet Callum. He has food intolerances (not allergies) so reads labels and avoids food that upset his stomach. He often has to take his own food to parties but is so good about it.

Although his reactions are not so severe as Callum, having a dedicated free-from food festival will be very exciting to him and meeting other children with similar needs will also be good.
