If you love cocktails, and you’re looking for something a little different, this is for you! We’ve come up with a deliciously refreshing G&T recipe that’s perfect for the summer months.
I’m a big fan of the classic G&T. It’s light, not full of calories, and easy to make.
Now, being a recipe creator means that I like to put my own stamp on things, including cocktails, and let’s face it, experimenting with cocktail recipes is always going to be fun!
As you’re probably all aware, Mr Intolerant G and I are finally getting married this summer, after 15 years together.
I wanted to create a ‘Wedding Cocktail’ to celebrate this, and after a bit of tweaking, I found that I’d come up with a corker!
We’ve had a few celebrations in the family since creating this, and each time it’s proven to be a big hit!
So, I present to you my ‘Ultimate Cocktail Recipe – Cranberry, Blueberry & Lime G&T’
You will need:
- 1 lime - cut into wedges
- Handful of frozen blueberries
- 1-2 shots sloe gin (such as Gordons)
- A large dash of cranberry juice
- A large dash of tonic water
Method:
In a large glass, add the blueberries, squeeze in the juice from 1 wedge of lime before adding this wedge and 1 more to the glass.
Pour in 1-2 shots of sloe gin, followed by a dash of cranberry juice, and a dash of tonic water.
Use a straw to stir and serve.
Enjoy!
