An absolutely delicious allergy safe Christmas pudding that everyone will love!


You will need:

  • 10.5oz (300g) mincemeat
  • X3 egg replacer
  • 4 tbsp treacle
  • 7oz (200g) molasses
  • 4 tbsp brandy (optional)
  • 3.5oz (100g) dairy-free butter - softened
  • 7oz (200g) gluten-free self-raising flour
  • 4 tbsp dairy-free milk


Grease and line the base of a 1.5 litre pudding bowl.

In a large bowl, add the mincemeat, egg replacer, treacle and molasses and stir well.

Add the brandy (if using) and dairy free butter and mix well.

Slowly stir in the gluten-free flour, followed by the dairy-free milk.

Pour into the prepared pudding bowl, cover with a disc of greaseproof paper and then place on a plate in the microwave.

Cook on the medium setting for around 20-25 minutes. Use a skewer to check the middle is cooked.

Leave to stand for 10 minutes, then add 2 tbsp brandy (if using) and leave to soak in.

Cover well, and remember to feed each week with 2 tbsp brandy (if using) in the run up to Christmas.

When ready to use, heat in the microwave for 3 minutes on medium heat, transfer to a heat proof serving dish and then pour 2 tbsp brandy (if using) over the top.

Flambé and serve with dairy-free cream, custard or simply on its own.
