Adagio Teas - a fantastic collection of herbal, fruit, chai tea and more! Punchy flavours, stunning aromas, and your chance to get your hands on some too! www.intolerantgourmand.com

Much is being mentioned in the press at the moment about healthy eating, reducing caffeine intake and keeping up fluid levels so that we can maintain a good balance for our hectic lifestyles.

As an avid coffee lover, I confess that I perhaps don’t drink as much as I should that isn’t coffee based. I run a business, have 2 children, a husband who works long hours and ferry the children about all over the place each week. Coffee is what keeps me going, or is it?

I’m also a big fan of peppermint tea as it helps keep IBS symptoms at bay, and it’s a great drink to have throughout the day. It’s incredibly refreshing too.

Now, a few weeks ago, the lovely team at Adagio Tea got in touch and asked if I’d like to try some of their herbal teas. I jumped at the chance to try some, and I was so impressed by what they sent me.

I’d not heard of Adagio Tea before they got in contact, but now they are top of my on-line retailers list. Their impressive collection of teas are sold across Europe and they also supply independent cafes and businesses.

I’ve tried a fair few herbal and fruit teas in my time, but none of them really stood out. They were ok, but their flavour wasn’t up to scratch, and not strong enough no matter how long you left them to stew.

Well, as soon as I received these teas, I knew they were good, and I mean really good!

Before I’d even brewed the first cup, the flavours sounded incredible! We’re talking:

  • Vanilla
  • Cranberry
  • Masala Chai
  • Chocolate
  • Spiced Apple Chai
  • Thai Chai
  • Peach Oolong
  • Grapefruit
  • Christmas Spices
  • Almond Oolong

And so many more too! Such as white teas, green teas, herbal teas, fruity teas, spicy teas, oolong teas to name a few.

The range on their website makes for impressive reading and it’s hard to choose which to try first!

Unbelievably, they have over 100 teas that can be chosen. I’m sure you’ll agree that it’s a seriously impressive collection. And what’s even better about this, not only can you buy just one flavour of your choosing, they also sell the flavours in various sample boxes with different sized resealable bags, so you can try a whole range.

They come in beautiful tin boxes, or little sachets that can be resealed, and these would make perfect presents for birthdays, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, or simply just because.

So, for example, I got to try out the Christmas Tea Sample Box amongst others, which contained:

  • Candy Apple
  • Chestnut Tea
  • Candy Cane
  • Gingerbread

And there is enough tea to make a total of up to 40 cups – from just one sample selection box! Such great value for money!

I love Earl Grey tea, so I decided to try their Earl Grey Moonlight first, and the smell just on opening the packet was amazing!

Such a stunning aroma, which you could see was made with all-natural ingredients, and the aroma while it brewed was just gorgeous. The flavour lived up to the expectation from the smell, and I was seriously impressed!

It’s fair to say that aside from coffee, nothing can beat a pot of good tea. It’s a very British thing to put the world to rights over a cup of tea, but it works, doesn’t it!

So, what better way to give back to you, my lovely readers, than to give you the chance to try some of these teas yourselves! Yep, the lovely team at Adagio Teas are putting together a fantastic giveaway of a selection of their teas for one of you!
